|Skill||Comment||We focused on||Grade|
|Skill learnt: Loose Lead (No pull)||Comment: Aslan’s first session was loose lead walking. Due to the weather this was done in the classroom. Asian was super excited and was bouncing all over the place at the start. The trainer worked in a very small area and Asan did soon settle and started walking better. By the end of the session the trainer was able to walk Aslan all the way through the classroom with good focus!||Focus: Distance||C+|
|Skill learnt: Muzzle Conditioning||Comment: Next up for Aslan was muzzle training. He does get excited for this as he loves the treats. The trainer worked on getting Aslan used to getting the strap over his ear as part of the whole process. He certainly isn’t keen but he is progressing. This need to be continuous training for Aslan.||Focus: Repetition||B|
|Skill learnt: Place Training||Comment: Final session was place. Initallly the training was near the kennel yards however rain soon made it a classroom session. Outside Aslan was good at only broke a couple of times, while trying to get to the good smells. Once inside Aslan decided he wanted to break as soon as the trainer pretended to walk away. Using uhuh and the rewarding more frequently meant that by the end of the session Aslan could hold the position while the trainer ran past Aslan!||Focus: Distraction||B+|
