Skill Comment We focused on Grade
Skill learnt: Place Training Comment: or session one with Asha we practiced the skill place. We did this skill so that Asha could get used to the classroom which had a few other dogs training. Asha did extremely well and had no reaction to the other dogs around. She was taking treats and had great engagement with the trainer. Focus: Distraction B+
Skill learnt: Paws Up (on object) Comment: For session two we practiced the skill paws up. This skill will boost Ashas confidence. Throughout the session the trainer used different surfaces to challenge Asha. Asha did extremely well and showed better confidence throughout the session. Focus: Confidence B+
Skill learnt: Targeting (touch) Comment: For Ashas third session we practiced the skill touch. This skill helps with confidence as well. When a object is held out and Asha is asked to touch it and she touches the object she is rewarded. By doing this skill we are helping build Ashas confidence with items and people. Focus: Confidence B+

A: Outstanding (90 – 100%) I understand my training, Neat & Complete! Ready to move on to higher difficulty & distraction
B: Great Work (80-89%) I mostly understand, Almost neat & complete! Needs practice in some areas. Mild distractions
C: Well DoneĀ (70-79%) Some good progress. Needs work, but on my way. Still learning. Low distractions.
D: Beginning (60-69%) My journey is just beginning, I don’t understand just yet. Introduction phase. No distraction.
E: Unable to Progress. Needs major focus, seek further options to assist.

X: Not gradable, the focus was on Enrichment, Socialisation & Engagement.
