Arya's Doggy Dayschool Report

It was a PLEASURE training with your pooch today and we look forward to continuing to help you achieve your goals, skills and improve your relationship.

Your journey does not end here, it has only just begun!

"I trained hard, I played hard! Please find below the skills we worked on and my results. I look forward to showing you what I learnt and working on them more with you!" If you have any questions about the skills we trained please feel free to contact todays trainer."

Skill Comment We focused on Grade
Skill learnt: Loose Lead (No pull) Comment: Aryas first session today was all about her loose lead walking. She was very excited to leave the kennels so we had to focus on brining her focus back to the trainer. After doing a couple drops and changing directions she started to settle and pay more attention to the trainer. We practiced her walking all around the place and she did very well! There weren’t any dog distractions throughout this session so we were able to get some great engagement out of her. Focus: Distraction B
Skill learnt: Place Training Comment: Her second session today was focused on her drop and place skill. We did lots of quick circuits to keep the session interesting. This means we would chain place and drop together. Doing this keeps her mind engaged and constantly listening for the next move. She seemed to like the fast paced switched between place and drop! Keep working on these skills and building a strong knowledge of them. Focus: Distraction B
Skill learnt: Targeting (touch) Comment: Her last session today was all about touch/targeting. This skill simply gets them to target an object with their nose. We started off using our hand for this, by rewarding any behaviour/acknowledgement towards our hand we can slowly shape it into a touch. She did really well with this, by the end of the session she was successfully touching our hand over and over! Focus: Foundation C+
