Arya's Doggy Dayschool Report

It was a PLEASURE training with your pooch today and we look forward to continuing to help you achieve your goals, skills and improve your relationship.

Your journey does not end here, it has only just begun!

"I trained hard, I played hard! Please find below the skills we worked on and my results. I look forward to showing you what I learnt and working on them more with you!" If you have any questions about the skills we trained please feel free to contact todays trainer."

Skill Comment We focused on Grade
Skill learnt: Loose Lead (No pull) Comment: Arya started her day working on her ‘loose lead’ walking in the classroom with another dog distraction. Arya barked initially when they came in, but once the trainer asked for a drop it redirected her behaviour. From then on Arya had beautiful engagement with her trainer while the other dog was skateboarding across from her! This is AMAZING! It is great to see her listening is sharp and she is easily able to redirect her focus where you want it. Keep practicing her loose lead at home and maintaining her engagement. If you are struggling be sure to use a higher value treat! Focus: Distraction B+
Skill learnt: Paws Up (on object) Comment: Next, Arya continued to build her confidence with her ‘paws up’ skill in the classroom whilst having doggo distractions. She did awesome! Arya did not react or show any signs of reactivity towards the other dogs. She was solely focused on her wobble board! The trainer is still attempting to get her to settle so she can balance all 4 paws on there, but she was a little overstimulated! Keep practicing this skill with her at home and test her on random objects! Focus: Confidence B+
Skill learnt: Place Training Comment: To finish her day, Arya worked on both her ‘place training’ and ‘drop’ skill in the classroom with a dog distraction. She did really well! Again she barked initially but regained her focus once the trainer started asking for skills. Arya practiced going to place and then going into drops once released. She got tricked a couple times, but she began to catch on and listened more carefully. Practice this at home and see how you go! Focus: Distraction B+
