Arlo's Doggy Dayschool Report

It was a PLEASURE training with your pooch today and we look forward to continuing to help you achieve your goals, skills and improve your relationship.

Your journey does not end here, it has only just begun!

"I trained hard, I played hard! Please find below the skills we worked on and my results. I look forward to showing you what I learnt and working on them more with you!" If you have any questions about the skills we trained please feel free to contact todays trainer."

Skill Comment We focused on Grade
Skill learnt: Loose Lead (No pull) Comment: Arlo’s first session we practiced loose lead walking with the pram. Again he did really well took no notice of the other dogs in this session he just wanted the food which is completely fine. Next time adding more distractions to see how he will go with that. Focus: Distraction A+
Skill learnt: Recall Comment: Alro’s second session we work on his recalls outside. First we conditioned him to the word ‘come’ and reward. Then while saying come luring him right to me then would reward. Then when he was distracted I would say ‘come’ and get him to come to me. He still doesn’t know the word ‘come’ 100% yet but practice makes perfect. Focus: Distraction B
Skill learnt: Middle Position Comment: Arlo’s last session we trained middles. First we practiced middles with duration then we progressed to him being in middles and walking forward and backwards. He did really well with walking forwards when walking backwards he did struggle but that is quite hard for dogs. When walking backwards he would lean on my legs kinda like a guide. Focus: Distraction A+

We recommend your next step should be…
