2021-06-17

It was a PLEASURE training with your pooch today and we look forward to continuing to help you achieve your goals, skills and improve your relationship.

Your journey does not end here, it has only just begun!

"I trained hard, I played hard! Please find below the skills we worked on and my results. I look forward to showing you what I learnt and working on them more with you!" If you have any questions about the skills we trained please feel free to contact todays trainer."

Skill Comment We focused on Grade
Skill learnt: Trick Training Comment: Today Arlo began with the ‘skateboard’ skill. He successfully was able to place a paw on the skateboard with the use of a lure, but once the lure was starting to fade away, Arlo got confused and didn’t perform the skill. He maintained good engagement until more dogs entered the classroom, that’s where he began to lose focus, but he quickly regained once the lure was brought to him. Focus: Confidence B
Skill learnt: Drop/ Down Comment: Arlo’s second session was red light green light with drops. Although Arlo dropped on command, he was not excited about the skill and only stayed at a semi quick walking pace. He did not show any interest in any toy used either. Arlo really struggled to get "revved up" this session therefore was difficult to do this skill. Focus: Distraction B
Skill learnt: Middle Position Comment: To finish off, Arlo revisited his ‘middles’ skill. He did exceptionally well and kept great focus throughout, although, once different angles were added, Arlo got a little confused and sometimes did not perform the skill correctly. In the future, we would like for Arlo to be able to perform middles from a variation of angles and distances without any struggle. Focus: Distance B+

We recommend your next step should be…
