2021-09-16

It was a PLEASURE training with your pooch today and we look forward to continuing to help you achieve your goals, skills and improve your relationship.

Your journey does not end here, it has only just begun!

"I trained hard, I played hard! Please find below the skills we worked on and my results. I look forward to showing you what I learnt and working on them more with you!" If you have any questions about the skills we trained please feel free to contact todays trainer."

Skill Comment We focused on Grade
Skill learnt: Loose Lead (No pull) Comment: Arlo’s first session was loose lead walking in the training area. This area has quite a lot of farm animal poo in it and is often the cause of distraction. Arlo however, nailed it! He did pull a couple of times but the trainer changed direction and Arlo refocused on the trainer again. Impressive work Arlo. Focus: Distraction B
Skill learnt: Recall Comment: Next session was recalls in the paddock. If the training area is full of the good smells then the paddock is a step up from that from a dogs perspective! Arlo did really well and only choose not to come when called once ( he found some really good poop to smell). He stayed close to the trainer which made it hard. When Arlo found a good smell the trainer quickly moved further away to get a good recall! Arlo did a great job in a very distracting environment. Focus: Distraction B+
Skill learnt: Obstacle Course (Confidence Building) Comment: When on a visit to Windamere a dog has to go through the obstacle course!! A slow start but with encouragement from the trainer Arlo made numerous rounds of the course at a very fast pace. It was a pleasure to train Arlo today. Focus: Repetition A
