Arlo had a great adventure to Windamere today!
It was a PLEASURE training with your pooch today and we look forward to continuing to help you achieve your goals, skills and improve your relationship.
Your journey does not end here, it has only just begun!
"I trained hard, I played hard! Please find below the skills we worked on and my results. I look forward to showing you what I learnt and working on them more with you!" If you have any questions about the skills we trained please feel free to contact todays trainer."
|Skill||Comment||We focused on||Grade|
|Skill learnt: Loose Lead (No pull)||Comment: We challenged Arlo's loose lead walking with the pram outside today! It was very challenging for him as there were also dogs in front and to the side of him. When the trainer noticed he was getting overaroused she put him in a drop which helped settle him and guide him with better behaviour. His focus was really good and we even started running and "driving" around crazy with the pram which he still responded well to. He didn't jump or pull too heavily which was the main goal for this session.||Focus: Distraction||B+|
|Skill learnt: Recall||Comment: We utilised one of the paddocks to further develop his recall skill. He was easily distracted by all of the farm animal smells and followed through with the command 80% of the time. Using a ball as a higher value reward, his recalls started to improve. Overall his recall was pretty good today and we were able to challenge it with dogs walking by!||Focus: Distraction||B+|
|Skill learnt: Obstacle Course (Confidence Building)||Comment: Arlo got so excited when we walked down to the obstacle course! He LOVES zooming through it! Even though he was pretty tired at this stage, he had a second round of energy and he was going so fast his ears were flapping everywhere. It was super adorable and watching him have a great time.||Focus: Confidence||A+|
