|Skill||Comment||We focused on||Grade|
|Skill learnt: Drop/ Down||Comment: For Arlo’s first session we worked on his drop durations with dog distractions. This involved putting him into position and having another dog and trainer walk around him. He was very engaged with the trainer, he sometimes stopped to look at the other dog but never broke position and always looked back to the trainer. Increasing distractions and duration will be a great next step.||Focus: Distraction||B+|
|Skill learnt: Recall||Comment: Arlo was very engaged to start the session so we had to create distractions for him, this involved throwing treats and having people as distractions. This way when he was distracted we could call him. He did very well, wasn’t slow to respond at all. He only got distracted when he found a treat hiding in the grass. To improve this, extra distraction should be used and a long line.||Focus: Obedience||B+|
|Skill learnt: Trick Training||Comment: For his last session we worked on his roll over skill, he started out slow but after a while he achieved a full roll over. He doesn’t have a full grasp on the task but it wont take long for him to understand. Repetition will be key for this exercise.||Focus: Repetition||C+|
