Arlo's Doggy Dayschool Report

It was a PLEASURE training with your pooch today and we look forward to continuing to help you achieve your goals, skills and improve your relationship.

Your journey does not end here, it has only just begun!

"I trained hard, I played hard! Please find below the skills we worked on and my results. I look forward to showing you what I learnt and working on them more with you!" If you have any questions about the skills we trained please feel free to contact todays trainer."

Skill Comment We focused on Grade
Skill learnt: Middle Position Comment: For his first session we continued with Arlo’s middles skills. Arlo does great with middles when at a distance and at angles up to 90 degrees so we worked on bigger angles as he got a bit confused when the trainer was more facing him. After a few repetitions he started to understand a bit better and was able to do a few higher angled ones which is great progress! Focus: Distance B
Skill learnt: Ring a Bell Comment: For his second session we worked on something new for Arlo – teaching him how to ring a rope bell! Arlo is very good with his shaping and quickly progressed through the shaping phases once he realized the object we wanted him to interact with. By the end of the session he had progressed from just looking at it for rewards to being able to do full pulls of the rope to make the bell ring! Focus: Foundation B+
Skill learnt: Loose Lead (No pull) Comment: For his last session we worked on Arlo’s loose lead skill outside. Arlo was really good with this, both on the pavement and on the grass. He kept great engagement and did several drops outside. He did struggle a little with emergency drops (when the trainer keeps walking) so this can be an area to work on next time. Otherwise, he did fantastic work! Focus: Distraction B+

We recommend your next step should be…
