Archie did very well with his training today especially with the lawnmower and the walker, next would like to focus on his drop duration so we can practice the lawnmower while he’s in the drop
It was a PLEASURE training with your pooch today and we look forward to continuing to help you achieve your goals, skills and improve your relationship.
Your journey does not end here, it has only just begun!
"I trained hard, I played hard! Please find below the skills we worked on and my results. I look forward to showing you what I learnt and working on them more with you!" If you have any questions about the skills we trained please feel free to contact todays trainer."
|Skill||Comment||We focused on||Grade|
|Skill learnt: Place Training||Comment: In Archies first session we trained place with lawnmower and walker distractions, normally having your dog in a controlled position there to focused on staying in the position then wanting to chase the lawnmower or the walker, he did not once try and chase them both and did so well, we did this skill inside first to see how he would go. Next I would like to practice this outside.||Focus: Distraction||A+|
|Skill learnt: Drop/ Down||Comment: In his second session we trained drops with duration and distance. At first his duration was not all there so we worked on that then half way through his session we added distance in, so taking one step back and step forward if you can’t do two steps back without him breaking then go back to one step. He slowly progressed but two steps were sometimes to much for him.||Focus: Repetition||B|
|Skill learnt: Paws Up (on object)||Comment: In Archies last session we trained spin and paws up, with paws up I used a container that he is used to and was able to put both paws up on that object easily, then I brought in a bosu ball which moves, he found that difficult towards the end he started to put two paws up but not for long only for a second. Next time that would be fantastic to work on.||Focus: Duration||B|
We recommend your next step should be…
A: Outstanding (90 – 100%) I understand my training, Neat & Complete! Ready to move on to higher difficulty & distraction
B: Great Work (80-89%) I mostly understand, Almost neat & complete! Needs practice in some areas. Mild distractions
C: Well Done (70-79%) Some good progress. Needs work, but on my way. Still learning. Low distractions.
D: Beginning (60-69%) My journey is just beginning, I don’t understand just yet. Introduction phase. No distraction.
E: Unable to Progress. Needs major focus, seek further options to assist.
X: Not gradable, the focus was on Enrichment, Socialisation & Engagement.
