Archie showed great confidence meeting new people today. He can be nervous when entering and inside rooms. We will continue to work on this but would be good to continue conditioning him at home.
It was a PLEASURE training with your pooch today and we look forward to continuing to help you achieve your goals, skills and improve your relationship.
Your journey does not end here, it has only just begun!

|Skill||Comment||We focused on||Grade|
|Skill learnt: Conditioning||Comment: In his first session, Archie focused on building confidence around people and different rooms. The trainers are aware he is nervous around people but have noticed he can show nervous behaviour when in small spaces, such as the classroom and Hedgegrove office. The trainer began with conditioning him to other trainers around the facility, initially he was nervous around the new trainer. However, after a couple of minutes he began to take treats from the trainer’s hand. This is great progress. The trainer also worked with him in the office, he was initially nervous and hesitant to walk inside. However, as the trainer conditioned the area and utilised skills such as drop and games such as catch the treat, he began to build confidence in the area.||Focus: Confidence||C+|
|Skill learnt: Drop/ Down||Comment: In his second session, Archie focused on further developing his skill drop with duration. Before working on his drop, we worked on conditioning Archie to another trainer, similarly to the first trainer he was little nervous to start but quickly began to build confidence and take treat treats form them. We focused on this skill as he performed well with drop but struggle to hold duration. Archie performed well, he initially broke drop but with some guidance he quickly began to remain in drop well. He successfully remained in drop while several other trainers walked pasted.||Focus: Duration||B|
|Skill learnt: Conditioning||Comment: In his final session, Archie focused on conditioning to the classroom environment, including people and dogs. Archie was initially hesitant to walk into the classroom and once inside he was nervous. To help him settle in the environment the trainer took their time with conditioning and took it at Archie pace. When he was ready, he slowly built confidence and moved closer into the classroom.||Focus: Conditioning||X|
