|Skill||Comment||We focused on||Grade|
|Skill learnt: Conditioning||Comment: For Annabelles first session today the trainer spent most of it just spending some time with her giving her lots of treats and cuddles. She showed no signs of retreating or nervousness so we were able to start with a bit of muzzle training. Just getting her to stick her nose in it for a treat.||Focus: Conditioning||A|
|Skill learnt: Muzzle Conditioning||Comment: For her second session today we continued with the muzzle training. Just getting her to hold her nose in it and slowly increase the duration. She did really well with this but as soon as you moved a hand she would quickly back away, as though she knew you would try and buckle the muzzle up. To work on this, we held treats and the muzzle in one hand and while she stuck her nose in that the other hand was just gently stroking her back. She coped well with this and got lots of cuddles for such a good job.||Focus: Repetition||B+|
|Skill learnt: Loose Lead (No pull)||Comment: For her last session today we were able to get the muzzle done up. We had to put the collar on first separately so we could stop her from wriggling away. We could then put the muzzle on (all while feeding lots of treats) and thread the collar through afterwards. She did well with this and took treats the entire time. We were able to take her for a small walk around the property and she received lots and lots of cuddles to make it a positive experience. When we got back to the kennels she was very excited when the muzzle came off and she did some mini zoomies!||Focus: Conditioning||A|
