Skill Comment We focused on Grade
Skill learnt: Place Training Comment: Amora’s first session was classroom conditioning and introduction to the yes marker and then place. Place is a skill that will help Amora to have a place to relax. It gives her a job to do and helps with impulse control. Amora did well and started increasing the duration she was able to stay on the bed. Awesome work. Focus: Duration C
Skill learnt: Stand Comment: Amora’s session was stand. The trainer lured Amora into the stand from a sit position and focused on duration. Amora was quite could still this and her duration increased by the end of the session. However she did just sit back down a couple of times. Next goal would be to add more distractions during Amora standing. But great session. Focus: Duration B
Skill learnt: Drop/ Down Comment: Amora’s final session was drop. Amora did appear to know drop. Either that or she was just very keen for the treats! However, once in position she was quick to jump straight up. So the trainer worked on Amora holding position longer. This is a goal to work towards as drop is a good controlled position and helps get focus and manners. Focus: Duration C
