2023-09-04

It was a PLEASURE training with your pooch today and we look forward to continuing to help you achieve your goals, skills and improve your relationship.

Your journey does not end here, it has only just begun!

"I trained hard, I played hard! Please find below the skills we worked on and my results. I look forward to showing you what I learnt and working on them more with you!" If you have any questions about the skills we trained please feel free to contact todays trainer."

Skill Comment We focused on Grade
Skill learnt: Place Training Comment: Alfie started his day with his place skill to work on his impulse control while working around other dogs. We focused on his duration in the skill within eyesight of the other dogs in the classroom. Alfie periodically hopped off before his release word but did well with the skill, showing a good understanding of the skill. Focus: Repetition C+
Skill learnt: Loose Lead (No pull) Comment: We worked on this skill in the classroom. Alfie lost willingness to take treats at this point, so we used some play to get his engagement back. We continued working on his loose lead, rewarding him with a few seconds of play, before going back to our loose lead. Alfie did well during this lesson, staying next to the trainer a good amount of the time. Focus: Repetition B
Skill learnt: Recall Comment: We finished off the day with this skill in the classroom. Alfie still wasn’t taking treats but with a bit of play we got Alfie’s engagement to continue with the skill. Alfie came back a good amount of the time, needing to be reeled in every now and then but making his way back for a treat for the majority. Focus: Repetition C+
