**Unfortunately due to IT issues we are unable to attach any photos sorry!** Ace was a bit nervous today but settled in really well into the classroom environment. We took it easy today by allowing him to settle so that next time he is better prepared to work on his obedience skills.
It was a PLEASURE training with your pooch today and we look forward to continuing to help you achieve your goals, skills and improve your relationship.
Your journey does not end here, it has only just begun!
"I trained hard, I played hard! Please find below the skills we worked on and my results. I look forward to showing you what I learnt and working on them more with you!" If you have any questions about the skills we trained please feel free to contact todays trainer."
|Skill||Comment||We focused on||Grade|
|Skill learnt: Conditioning||Comment: For his first session we worked on conditioning Ace to the classroom. There were a few dogs and staff around so he was a bit nervous and wasn't too interested in treats. We just kept petting him and offering treats to let him get used to the area at his own pace.||Focus: Conditioning||X|
|Skill learnt: Place Training||Comment: For his second session we worked on the basics of his place skill. This involved luring Ace onto a raised bed and rewarding him when all 4 of his feet were on the bed. Ace did well going onto the bed but did struggle with staying on place so duration was a major focus this session. He did slowly start improving and started offering sits and drops on place which was really good! Next time we'd like to have Ace stay on place longer so that we can start pushing the skill with some distractions. At home, focus on luring Ace onto a raised bed and rewarding him once all 4 paws are on so that he gets comfortable with this skill.||Focus: Foundation||C+|
|Skill learnt: Crate Training||Comment: For his last session we worked on having Ace relax and condition to being in a crate. He was very good at going into the crate but did whine a little in there. By giving him lots of treats as he was in there watching the room he was able to relax and observe the trainers and dogs without stress.||Focus: Conditioning||C+|
