Splish, splash! What a great day for a swim in the warm hydro Pool! It was our PLEASURE to take your dog for a lesson of swimming with the Noahs Crossing Vet team.
Hydrotherapy is not just fun it comes with numerous benefits such as low impact exercise for muscles and joint, helps build on the dogs confidence and fitness, it is a great exposure experience and helps to build on your dogs swimming style and confidence with water.
After their swim you may find they will either be full of energy with a second boost of adrenaline or they will be out like a light snoozing off today's accomplishments. Either way, they deserve it!
Please find below some quick notes given by the qualified Hydro-therapist and a note from our team how the dog was during their time with us.

A word from us
Phoenix struggle with technique but as this was his first time we had the hydrotherapist assist as well. Once settled he started taking treats and did well with the other dogs in the pool and crates when waiting. He didn't react once and took food throughout the entire trip. One thing he did struggle with was taking breaths when swimming. He would hold on until at the step so this was good to focus on with him.
A word from Noah's
Phoenix required some time to settle and adjust to the water but his recover was fairly quick and before long he was picking up the rhythm with swimming. He wasn't fully extending his legs but with a few more sessions he'll get there.
