Splish, splash! What a great day for a swim in the warm hydro Pool! It was our PLEASURE to take your dog for a lesson of swimming with the Noahs Crossing Vet team.
Hydrotherapy is not just fun it comes with numerous benefits such as low impact exercise for muscles and joint, helps build on the dogs confidence and fitness, it is a great exposure experience and helps to build on your dogs swimming style and confidence with water.
After their swim you may find they will either be full of energy with a second boost of adrenaline or they will be out like a light snoozing off today's accomplishments. Either way, they deserve it!
Please find below some quick notes given by the qualified Hydro-therapist and a note from our team how the dog was during their time with us.

A word from us
Phoenix was a lot more calmer in the pool today although she was still easily distracted by her surroundings. Continuing Hydro would be great to improve her focus as when she gets distracted her swimming technique becomes splashy. She took treats and swam beautifully without the distractions.

A word from Noah's
Phoenix is still learning to swim properly and has shown she can do it but when there is another dog around or people moving she gets distracted and loses her momentum. When this happens she starts to splash around as she loses her focus. She got better towards the end of the session so this is good progress.
