Mila's Hydro Report

Splish, splash! What a great day for a swim in the warm hydro Pool! It was our PLEASURE to take your dog for a lesson of swimming with the Noahs Crossing Vet team.

Hydrotherapy is not just fun it comes with numerous benefits such as low impact exercise for muscles and joint, helps build on the dogs confidence and fitness, it is a great exposure experience and helps to build on your dogs swimming style and confidence with water.

After their swim you may find they will either be full of energy with a second boost of adrenaline or they will be out like a light snoozing off today's accomplishments. Either way, they deserve it!

Please find below some quick notes given by the qualified Hydro-therapist and a note from our team how the dog was during their time with us.

A word from us

Mila did great today! She LOVED her first swim. A little wary to begin with but soon learnt that water, the pool and everyone involved is a cool, fun and safe environment. One tired girl afterwards! Great work Mila!

A word from Noah's

It was fantastic to meet young Mila today. To begin the session, we took some time. Although confident heading into the water, Mila was quite nervous when it came to swimming and being fully submerged in the pool. We focused on conditioning to being in the water and making sure she was very comfortable with us. It took some time but as the session progressed Mila did begin to find her swimming feet. She shortly made a game of it and had a lot of fun! She found she loved splashing and making big launches into the water. This was a great fun first session for her, to learn that the pool, the water and us are fun and completely safe. She was fantastic and would love to see her back to help build that confidence being in the water and working on the swimming technique.
