Splish, splash! What a great day for a swim in the warm hydro Pool! It was our PLEASURE to take your dog for a lesson of swimming with the Noahs Crossing Vet team.
Hydrotherapy is not just fun it comes with numerous benefits such as low impact exercise for muscles and joint, helps build on the dogs confidence and fitness, it is a great exposure experience and helps to build on your dogs swimming style and confidence with water.
After their swim you may find they will either be full of energy with a second boost of adrenaline or they will be out like a light snoozing off today's accomplishments. Either way, they deserve it!
Please find below some quick notes given by the qualified Hydro-therapist and a note from our team how the dog was during their time with us.

A word from us
Kenzi is a sweet girl who was quite nervous today. She had no issues with being in a van or travel but once in the new environment she initially struggled. After several minutes she began to settle. For Kenzi's development and to reduce her fearful behaviours it is crucial to continue exposing her to a range of environments, people and distractions. Continuing hydrotherapy would be great for her confidence, beginning dayschools to continuing exposing her to new people and dogs whilst building her basic skills and looking into group classes to help owner handling and exposure. This will help reduce her fearful behaviours and become a well rounded little pup.
A word from Noah's
Kenzi was initially nervous while in the pool, she splashed and was unsure how to swim correctly. As the session progressed she began to settle and swim well. By the end of the session, she began sliding off the pods on her own.
