Splish, splash! What a great day for a swim in the warm hydro Pool! It was our PLEASURE to take your dog for a lesson of swimming with the Noahs Crossing Vet team.
Hydrotherapy is not just fun it comes with numerous benefits such as low impact exercise for muscles and joint, helps build on the dogs confidence and fitness, it is a great exposure experience and helps to build on your dogs swimming style and confidence with water.
After their swim you may find they will either be full of energy with a second boost of adrenaline or they will be out like a light snoozing off today's accomplishments. Either way, they deserve it!
Please find below some quick notes given by the qualified Hydro-therapist and a note from our team how the dog was during their time with us.

A word from us
We were so proud of Ace, he absolutely smashed his swimming. Ace started off a little slow and wasn’t swimming the best he could but after 3 laps he started to calm down and focus on what he was doing. Once clam he swam beautifully and was even stepping off the end with little encouragement. He also loved receiving some yummy treats every couple of laps. He was so tired by the end that he slept the whole way back to Hedgegrove. Hydrotherapy is a really good exercise form for Ace as it’s none weight bearing however still increases their cardiac output helping him to lose some weight while taking some pressure of his joints!
A word from Noah's
The hydrotherapist was very impressed with Ace! She said at the start he wasn’t swimming the best but once he gained some confidence he started to swim really well!
